Annual Staff Picnic Reflections

On August 19th, Orion hosted staff and their loved ones for the annual agency picnic at Marshall Park. Staff shared a meal, socialized, and utilized the great space for outdoor fun! Some of the activities included: tie dye, a bean bag tournament, a water balloon toss, and boat rides on the lake.

This was the first time the organization has hosted the picnic since the onset of the pandemic and many expressed that they felt the in-person interaction was restorative to their feeling of workplace community. Orion looks forward to fostering this sense of community in the future and hopes staff felt celebrated for all they do in the communities they serve!
