Stacey has been with Orion since 1994 when she was hired as an In-Home Therapist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Hunter College in New York City. She has been a licensed psychotherapist in Wisconsin since 1996. Over the years at Orion she has served as Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director and in 2018 was appointed as CEO/Executive Director. Stacey is recognized as a Diakonal Minister in the United Church of Christ having completed servant leadership training through the Faith-Based Leadership Program of the Council of Health and Human Services Ministries (CHHSM) in 2008. Stacey enjoys spending time Up North with her husband, daughters, and friends.

Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has over 15 years of experience working with children and families. She completed a Master in Sports and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University and a Master in Community Counseling from University of Phoenix. Jennifer brings her years of experience working in outpatient and community settings to her work at Orion. Jennifer is passionate about creating new programs and providing services for underserved communities. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her energetic twins, working out, and playing competitive sports.

Katie has her MSW and MPH from Washington University in St. Louis. She brings experience in research, quality improvement, and program evaluation. Katie leverages data and other information to help the organization make evidenced-based decisions. She also helps improve processes within the organization so that Orion can focus on providing the best services to consumers. Katie’s passion is helping support employees and making their lives easier. In her free time, Katie likes to bake, watch movies, attend sporting events of all kinds, and spend time outside with her partner and Portuguese water dog.
Kay Hoffman

Payroll & Billing Specialist
Kay focuses on billing insurance claims, assuring commercial insurance credentialing, and supporting timely payroll. She received her diploma in Insurance Billing and Coding from Herzing University in 2021. Kay has worked in the insurance industry in different capacities for over 10 years. She grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin and moved to the Madison area after high school. She enjoys helping people understand their insurance plans because they can be very difficult to navigate. Kay is always happy to help consumers with any billing and insurance questions. In her spare time, Kay enjoys going to concerts, watching movies and spending time with her kiddo.

Kimberly has been on Orion's billing team since August 2019. She has bachelor's degrees in economics and Norwegian from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Kimberly is committed to an accurate and timely monthly billing process. She is passionate about expanding the native habitat in her yard and can also be found shopping at local yarn stores for her next knitting project.

Julie is the Operations Manager and wears many hats in the company. She manages business services, including facilities, fleet, information technology, and telecommunications. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor’s in Education and brings over 30 years of customer experience and management to Orion. Julie has lived in the Madison area her entire life and enjoys spending time with her partner of 15 years as well as her family and friends. She is passionate about crafting and spending time with her three dogs. Her new love is houseplants!

As an Intake Specialist at Orion Family Services, Kaci Williams, MS, LMFT, combines her experience as a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a commitment to making the process of seeking mental health services as easy and comfortable as possible. Understanding that reaching out for help can be a significant step, Kaci ensures a confidential and helpful intake process, guiding individuals with clinical awareness, clarity, and care as they begin their journey with Orion. Her clinical background provides a unique level of insight and support during this initial phase.

Samantha Benson received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2009. Samantha joined Orion Family Services in 2012 as an In-Home Safety Service Provider. She was promoted to Program Manager in 2020. Samantha is driven to help others find their light and joy. Samantha's areas of interest include mindfulness, meditation, yoga, hiking and rugby.

Outside of her professional life, Marybeth enjoys learning new hands-on crafts, gardening, cooking and baking, reading, and continuously expanding her knowledge. Kim Heimann began her career with Orion began in 2005 as a Resident Counselor at the Monroe House group home for girls. In 2016, she joined the Community Services team; first as a Children and Family Specialist. She was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2018 and then promoted again in 2022 to Program Supervisor. In 2024, she became a certified Crisis Prevention Instructor and educates Orion staff members. Kim is committed to working with children, youth, and families. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, crafting, and spending time with family.
