Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer
Stacey has been with Orion since 1994 when she was hired as an In-Home Therapist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master Degree in Social Work from Hunter College in New York City. She has been a licensed psychotherapist in Wisconsin since 1996. Over the years at Orion she has served as Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director and in 2018 was appointed as Executive Director/CEO. Stacey is recognized as a Diakonal Minister in the United Church of Christ having completed servant leadership training through the Faith-Based Leadership Program of the Council of Health and Human Services Ministries (CHHSM) in 2008. Stacey is married and enjoys spending time Up North with her husband, 2 daughters, and friends.

Scott Braun

Scott Braun is a financial leader able to use operational data to help his organization be successful. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Real estate and Finance, he has lived and worked in Madison and the surrounding counties most of his life. A couple years ago, he completed his MBA in Finance and Data Analytics at Ohio University. Completing this continuing education at this stage in his career allows him to participate fully as an executive member of the organization and help it adapt to changes in our environment. He has two grown children and enjoys working with tools, boating, and travelling with his wife.

Jennifer Hawley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has over 15 years of experience working with children and families. She completed a Master in Sports and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University and a Master in Community Counseling from University of Phoenix. Jennifer brings her years of experience working in outpatient and community settings to the position of Chief Program Officer at Orion Family Services. Jennifer is passionate about creating new programs and providing services for underserved communities. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her energetic twins, working out, and playing competitive sports.

Cheryl is a Child and Family Support Specialist. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree in social work with a minor in Criminal Justice. She loves challenging herself and establishing professional relationships with her clients and being able to see families excel in building a healthy and happy family life. Some of Cheryl's hobbies include crafting, reading, and enjoying life on life's terms. Cheryl has many life experiences to bring to the table. Her experiences, both physical and emotional have led to her success in the social work field.

Brianna is the Lead Child and Family Support Specialist for the Community Services Program. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Community Engagement and Education at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Brianna was hired as a Child and Family Support Specialist in 2021 and promoted to Lead in 2022. At Orion, she is most passionate about advocating for families, helping consumers develop healthy coping mechanisms, and supporting new Community Services staff. In her free time, you can find her cuddled up with her cats and a good book!

Liz is a Community Services Program Supervisor. She received her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater. Since beginning employment in 2017, Liz has become certified in Emergency Mental Health, Comprehensive Community Services, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Crisis Prevention, and has earned her Peer Specialist certificate. Liz started as a Community Services Staff, was promoted to Program Assistant in 2019, and was promoted again in 2021 to her current role. She is dedicated to helping youth and families gain the skills to thrive in this complex world. In her free time, Liz enjoys practicing yoga, gardening, hiking, and going on bike rides.

Community Services Program Manager
Samantha Benson is the Manager of Orion's Community Services Program. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2009. Samantha joined Orion Family Services in 2012 as an In-Home Safety Service Provider. She was promoted to Program Manager in 2020. Samantha is driven to help others find their light and joy. Samantha's areas of interest include mindfulness, meditation, yoga, hiking and rugby.

Kim Heimann is a Program Supervisor for the Community Services Team. She began her career with Orion in 2005 as a resident counselor in the Monroe House group home for girls. In 2016, she became a part of the Community Services team. She was first a Children and Family Specialist, moving into the Assistant Manager role in 2018 and was then promoted again to Community Services Program Supervisor in 2022. Kim has a strong commitment to working with children, youth, and families. Outside of work, Kim likes outdoor activities, crafting, and spending time with family.

She loves working and establishing relationships with her clients, and being able to see the progress that families can make both together, and independently. Ashley is adopted by her aunt and uncle, and by having first-hand personal experience in this field, she believes that these experiences allow her to do her job with gratitude. Some of Ashley's hobbies are spending time with family and friends, or her husky, traveling, and practicing self care!

She primarily works out of our Monroe satellite office, which is a community she feels privileged to both live in and serve. Patrick primarily uses narrative and solution-focused models in his therapy practice but utilizes interventions and skills from other modalities too. She has extensive job experience working with at risk youth and was the former program director at an Orion group home. Kristi is committed to making sure her clients are getting the services they need in order to be successful in their lives. She also serves on her daughter’s school PTA as president, is a co-troop leader for the Girl Scouts, and volunteers at an animal shelter. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, which now includes two rescue puppies.
